"Unable to Connect"
Recently my Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 stopped updating the database on my HP rp5700. The K software seems to function fine, but hasn't updated since 6/24/10. Kaspersky has been unable to help as yet. I managed to upgrade to 2010 w/o solution. Specifically I cannot connect to the necessary site http://downloads.kaspersky-labs.com nor http://devbuilds.kaspersky-labs.com with the software, nor with browsers Explorer or Firefox. I have also had trouble connecting to Microsoft help sites with the same message "Unable to Connect". It appears that the computer does fid the sites, but that it is unable to connect. I use and old Belkin wireless router at home, but my old laptop works OK (it is Kaspersky up-to-date) and I have bypassed the router with my HP PC connected directly to the cable modem w/o solution. I believe the problem is resident in my HP running Windows XP pro.Any sugestios?1 person needs an answerI do too
